Typically, you have two options for installation: self-install or professional technician services. AT&T Internet’s professional installation fee is $99, while Xfinity’s is $50. You may be able to waive the fee entirely if you buy a bundle, but it will depend on current promotions. Xfinity unlimited is deprioritized (not throttled) for the 1st 20 GB; after that, speed is throttled to 1.5 Mbps (according to their disclaimer). The best way for you to evaluate is to try their service. I have had both at my house and Xfinity had random outages frequently and inconsistent speeds.
