Yet, we show that, even in its abstract form, the concept of peace encompasses different interpretations, each influenced by the perceiver’s experiences of conflict, and each shaping the way in which the perceiver thinks about conflict resolution.The ideal of peace therefore suffuses the religious concepts in the Qur’an. The revelation and the night on which it came down are peace. Peace is the pinnacle of the Muslim paradise. God is peace.
